Edaphosaurus

Edaphosaurus was an herbivorous synapsid, and among the earliest large terrestrial browsers. It's distinctive sail displays notable crossbar-like projections along the dorsal vertebrae. I've reconstructed it here as being more thickly outfitted with skin and keratin than most sail-like depictions I've seen.
